Description

Prepare, examine, and analyse accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.

Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.

Analyse business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.

Report to management regarding the finances of establishment.

Establish tables of accounts, and assign entries to proper accounts.

Develop, maintain, and analyse budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.

A commerce graduate will be preferable.

Functional Areas

• Day to day Accounting & Book Keeping.
• Handle account payables & receivables 
• Handle Sales Register & Purchase register.
• Issue debit note/credit notes as per requirement.
• Responsible for preparation of cash, bank, journal, purchase, contra and sales.
• Monthly Provision Entries Expenses & Statutory Entries.
• Monthly Reconciliation Advance to Employee.
• Thorough with statutory compliance like timely payments of deducted and collected taxes viz Service Tax, Provident Fund, Income Tax and Labor Departments.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Words and Power Point) is a must and experience in using accounting software.
